CHP Project Senegal

We’ve been asked to engineer a CHP (combined heat and power) plant for an onions dry and fry line in Senegal. The current production line runs on natural gas and uses the electrical grid.

Our specialist knowledge on these kind of energy issues has been requested to outfit the energy-consuming dryer with a CHP energy powerplant, producing the required electricity and heat much more efficiently at the same time. The expected saving are expected to be hundreds of thousands annually, which means that the investment is recouped in the short term.
